Since my blog is bloated with random posts, this is a list of special/noteworthy blog posts that I have written (in chronological order):

  1. My Favorite Indie Band Uploaded A Story About Me: My favorite band uploaded my piano cover of a guitar solo of one of their songs on their instagram story. Blog has an audio recording of my cover.
  2. Second Place in a Hackathon: A friend and I won second place and ~$210 in a 48-ish hour start-up sprint hackathon conducted by The Entrepreneurship and Innovation Cell of our college by making an Automatic Video Editor that personalizes the primary edits of a sequence of images according to your previous history and style. It takes note of every time you edit something new and learns more about your preferences using a bit of association learning.
  3. How I Hacked My Uni’s Internship Portal: I hacked into my Uni’s internship portal and created an internship that Rick-Rolled a lot of people. The process is pretty cool and involves a supercomputer using 97% of it’s power.
  4. I Made a Website That Hit a Million Views in 2 Weeks: Covindia.com was a website that was made to be a district-wise tracker for India during the COVID-19 Pandemic. It hit a million views in 2 weeks, I featured in 40+ newspapers (pictures included), I appeared on live TV and our team won 10th place out of 1,500 teams in a National Hackathon.
  5. We Won The Smart India Hackathon: The Smart India Hackathon is a hackthon conducted yearly by The MHRD (The Indian Ministry of Human Resource Development) that brings in multiple state governments and organizations to offer real problem statements faced by them. 6 of us (plus 2 faculty mentors) participated in it on August 1st - 3rd and won first place and 1 Lakh Rupees (~$1,350).
